Hi, Most of the universities in US offer Masters of Science(MS). This requires 16 years of schooling in India, GRE score & TOEFL score. you can do MS in your own field of choice.

    Hi,
The minimum requirement depends on university to university. The average GRE requirement for US universities is 1250 and above.

    Hi

If you plan to pursue masters from a reputed institute in U.S, you will have to take GRE and TOEFL

You can not get admission into a good university with a scholarship without GRE. Scholarship depends on various factors like GRE score, TOEFL Score, undergrad GPA, recommendation letters and SOP.
Go through the lessons and tests in the respective communities.

Also, the following links will be useful to you :

    Hello,

If you are aspiring for higher education abroad, please elaborate your profile in terms of your academic back ground so far, tests takes if any so that guidelines can be provided accordingly.

Since you are in the first year you have time in hand to understand the general application procedure and the eligibility requirements for international applicants. Take your time and develop an understanding towards the application procedure since they are time consuming and tedious process. Please find below some guidelines :

Registering and preparing for the test takes GRE (Graduate Record Examination).

English Proficiency Test like the IELTS, TOEFL are mandatory while considering US universities.

    Getting the official transcripts ready.

Reference letters from the professors, employers are sought as per the universities requirement.

Statement of purpose that enhances your individuality, the purpose of choosing the particular location, university is a part of the application.

Financial Documents depicting how you plan to manage your finances in terms of the tuition fees and cost of living is an essential requirement by most of the universities abroad.

You may access the following links to have an overview of the test takes generally considered for pursuing a Masters :

    GRE 2010
    TOEFL 2010
    IELTS 2010

Think well and do get back to us with further queries.

    Good luck!

    Hello,

Since you are in the second year of Bachelors, you have ample of time in hand to start with the preparation, understand the application procedure and select universities.

As of now try and browse through the universities as per the program in various destinations and analyze which suits your interest. Consider other aspects like the finances incurred and compare within the same destination and different destinations.

Try and contact people who are already enrolled abroad for higher studies to get an insight of the culture, living style etc that might help you finalize on the location.

Do consider the English Proficiency Tests (TOEFL/IELTS) that are mandatory for international applicants and the standardized test (GRE) for applicants seeking a Masters degree in destinations like US, Canada etc.

You may access the following links to have an overview of the test takes generally considered for pursuing a Masters :

    GRE 2010
    TOEFL 2010
    IELTS 2010

You could begin with the registration and preparation of the test takes by when you are confident of taking the year, but preferably not delaying beyond the third year.

As of now I would recommend to concentrate on the academic performance (GPA) all through the program since this plays a vital role during the evaluation of the profile.

    Good luck!

    Hello,

If you have cleared all the arrears, then you can definitely consider a Masters degree from the US, provided you meet with their eligibility and admissions requirement like GRE 2010, TOEFL etc.

Generally, on an average the tuition fees for a Masters degree can range from $18,000 to $30,000 per annum. The living cost for an international applicant usually comes around $1000 per month.
Outstanding scores on the standardized tests can enhance your chances for scholarship or some kind of financial aid from the universities. Also, scholarship is completely based on your academic performance in the first semester in the university and need of the applicant. The most commonly availed options by the international applicants are the Research Assistantship, Teaching Assistantship and Graduate Assistantship. In comparison to the scholarships these are far less competitive and one can easily cover up the daily expenses and gain practical exposure also.

The bottom line is do not expect much coverage of the expenses from the universities. You can however consider the scholarship offered by Learnhub, provided you meet with the eligibility criteria and agree with their terms and conditions. Please access the link below for the same :

    Learnhub Scholarship

Do get back with more elaboration on your profile and we shall guide you further. However as of now you may go through the program profile of University of New Haven that might meet with your interest. If so we can assist you with the application proceedings in the same. All you need to do is click on ‘Request more information’ that will take you to the page where you need to suffice with your details. You may have a word with our team as well for any further guidance on the same :

    Hello Deepil,

The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India) and the Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development considers it equivalent to a degree in engineering.

Now with regard to the recognition of AMIR abroad it is recognized by UK-NARIC as British Bachelor's Honours degree and by Foreign credential service of America (FCSA) as equivalent to Bachelor's degree in engineering.

However, since no standardized policy exists with regard to the acceptance of AMIE in the US universities, it is solely their decision. However, majority of the universities specify the minimum academic qualification as a a Bachelors or its equivalent from recognized institution / university.

Also, please note the fee structure varies in every university. However, generally, a Masters degree in the US is approximately of two years and on an average the tuition fees for a Masters degree can range from $18,000 to $30,000 per annum. The living cost for an international applicant usually comes around $1000 per month.

Now with regard to scholarships, a from of financial assistance, as an international applicant it is very important to understand that though majority of the universities do specify of the options available for financial assistance in terms of scholarships and tuition waiver, they are extremely competitive and are generally offered after the first semester. However, if you have had an excellent academic record or have impressive scores on the test take (GRE and TOEFL), the universities do offer partial or full tuition waiver to the students. In simpler words, most universities offer financial assistance to international students based primarily on merit and rarely on need and the amount, and type of assistance offered varies, based on the university, department and level of study. The bottom line is we cannot commit from the university's end and the ultimate decision lies in their hands and hence it is advisable to plan your finances before you actually reach there.

You may also opt for the scholarship offered by Learnhub, provided you meet with the terms and conditions to avail the same. Please access the following link for detailed information on the same :

    Learnhub Scholarship

I hope the above stated helps!

    Take care!

Hello iam B-Tech second year student from UP from computer science. I want to do my higher education from an excellent university. I understand the requirements of gre and toeffel but the following questions r still unanswered:
1.If my univ marks are not good enough will there be a problem even though gre and toeffel scores are good enough?
2.Which type of proffessors' recommendation letters are considered?
3.And apart from master of science are there any good higher education options for computer science students and if they are then which and in which university?
