should i go for DPT or MPT? (Question)

hello frends… im planning to do post graduation in physiotherapy from US but im confused b/w MPT n DPT. MPT is a 1 year masters in physiotherapy whereas DPT is a 3 year doctoral of physiotherapy. DPT is much more expensive than MPT. plz tel wat shud i do DPT or MPT? what is the difference b/w the 2 in terms of job prospects, salary etc? are DPT graduates given preference over MPT graduates? plz help…

    hi…....first let me tell u dpt is not a 3 year but 6 year course. joining dpt requires some aligned courses (geriatrics, mha, exer’ endurance etc etc )n depending on ur 1st year score in these courses u will be promoted to 3rd or 4th or sometimes even 2nd year of dpt. but once u complete ur dpt u r given a registered physiotherapist certificate, u can start working in hospitals seeing pc’s and no need to clear ur liscence where as after mpt u need to clear ur liscence…........
