RIGHT NOW IM STUDYING B.E IN COMP SCIENCE AND I WANT TO DO MTECH IN SOFTWARE ENGGWHAT TYPE OF PREPARATION SHOULD I TAKE AND WHICH ARE THE COLLEGES GOOD FOR ME. IM NOW IN 2ND SEMESTER.

    Sounds like you have a long way to go before you start the application process for MTech. You’ll first need to finish the BE degree with as high marks as you can, then likely you’ll have to take the TOEFL/IELTS and the GRE to get admissions into a good school.     Dear duke777,

    Since you have ample time try to make use of this wisely. Try to finish your GRE and apply to the colleges one year in advance so that you stand a chance for scholarship. Also get a very good GRE score by planning the things for the next 2 years. Also as oLahav pointed out try to maintain good acads as well.
